Okon Mercy Iquo
Okon Mercy Iquo is a vibrant, resourceful, and experienced civil servant hailing from Idebe in Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River State. Born on October 26, 1964, she completed her secondary education at Holy Child College in Ikoyi, Lagos, graduating in 1981. She then pursued higher education at the University of Maiduguri, where she earned a B.A. (Hons) in History in 1985, followed by an M.Sc. in International Relations in 1989.
Udemba Francis Uche
Head, Corporate Services
Mr. Udemba Francis Uche was born on September 23, 1968, in Oguta, a local government area in Imo State, Nigeria. He began his educational journey at Central Primary School in Oguta, where he studied from 1974 to 1979. He then continued his education at Trinity High School in Oguta, attending from 1979 to 1985.
In 1992, Mr. Udemba enrolled at the University of Abuja, where he pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He completed his degree in 1996 and subsequently fulfilled his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) obligation by serving at Yakubu Gowon Barrack in Abuja.
His professional career began in 1999 when he joined the Ministry of Petroleum Resources (PTDF) as an Administrative Officer I, SGL. 09. He held this position until 2011, during which time he also worked with the National Sports Commission, the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
In 2012, he transitioned to the Federal Ministry of Defence, where he worked until 2014. He then served at the Federal Ministry of Transport from 2014 to 2017 and at the Federal Civil Service Commission from 2017 to 2021. His dedication and hard work were recognized in 2017 when he was promoted to the position of Assistant Director, SGL. 15.
In 2024, Mr. Udemba was honored with a Doctorate of Fellow from the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM). He currently a Deputy Director and serves as the Head of the Corporate Services Department at the Bureau of Public Service Reforms in Abuja.
Mr. Uche is married and blessed with children.
